VLOG – Ally
I Like to think that Ben Solo’s
big gesture the proposal as some
call it, in the Last Jedi was
really about him. What he wanted,
her on his terms. Both of them
weren’t in a place to accept each
other in the moment. Acting from a
place of fear of losing the other
person won’t turn out well. Rose
said it best, saving what you
love, really involves sacrifice.
I think Ben will make a big
gesture but it will be because he
is on a path of redemption. It
will be for himself, for her and
for the Galaxy.

Lex turns to leave, Ally struggles to get out of the grasp of
Ben. The door shuts.

Ben

shouldn’t worry about your friend.
Vocally Ally should be getting frustrated.

on your channel – when you talk
about yourself when you talk about

place right now, and I think if I

They move off the dance floor.

I have been crying on Ally all
day, I just do that,ruminate, like
this, all day. Steve said he
wasn’t sure how to handle my
career any more when I told him I
didn’t know how to comfort Bobby..
He lost his stuffy. I’m not
there.. I don’t know what to say.
Kristy
Oh gees… People say things, when
they are hungry, or stressed or
tired. You didn’t really sleep at
all last night and then you worked
all day… so try again when you
have rested. I think things will
be easier in the morning.
Daniella
That… makes alot of sense… I
really should forgive myself for
not knowing how to say the right
things after pulling an all
nighter.. I don’t really know how
I am standing now. Can we maybe go
back to the room?
Kristy

in a hurry… I Haven’t seen Rish
since that guy James wandered off
with her.

she was recently training in a new
form – Crab Guava, to disable an
opponent for her Security work?
She works all those rock concerts
on the weekends to make more cash

supposed to be getting information
out of him, we probably find her.

Transition between the Dance and a Hallway in the Hotel.
INT CASINO – Middle of the Night.
Rish and James are hanging out in a lounge area talking,
Casino noise can be heard in the distant background.
James
You know Rish… These drinks are
Delicious. I like hanging out with
you.. You always order more
drinks. I don’t think i have hung
out with a girl that has done that
for me before.
Rish
Happy to, you are very
entertaining. You were telling me
about the trip to Jordan with the
Trixie Crew…
James
Right. Well would you believe it
is sooo hot there. I’m from
California and it is so hot in
Jordan.
Rish

Kristy Grabs her keys out and hand them to Rish.

to go too, maybe pack up your big

Sure, once I change out of all of
this! I’ll leave the Kit in the
hall of the Villa.

Transition to a different Hallway..
INT. Elevator Bank –
We hear the Ding of an Elevator, We hear a chatty couple get
off the elevator. We hear Lex say the following as he tries
to enter the elevator as the couple is exiting.
Lex
Oh So sorry. I wasn’t paying
attention.
Elderly women
Thank you, young man.
Elderly man
Come on dear, let’s get to the
craps tables.
Elderly Women
Oh.. look at that young woman
running this way!
We hear Ally running down the hall to the elevator.. The
elevator starts to close. She is breathy when she arrives.
Ally
LEX! Wait!
Lex holds the elevators it makes the sound that elevators
make when you put your hand in the way and they reopen. Lex
doesn’t sound mad just awkward.
Ally
Hey… Thanks for holding the
Elevator for me.
Lex
Ally… Hi
Ally
Right.. Heading to the room?
We hear the doors close leaving the two of them alone in the
elevator. They are on the top floor.
Lex
Yes, I’m pretty tired. I guess you
are pretty exhausted too.
Ally
Really tired. It was like I was a
cosplay roadie all day. It was
illuminating, fix this piece, hold
this prop. I had to stand in the
way of some people, almost like
protection duty. It was pretty
tiring…
Lex
You should rest up… We have
another long drive tomorrow.
Ally
Yea, I will but Lex.. I really
need to talk to you.
Lex
Okay, What’s up?
Ally
Lex.. What you saw back there,
wasn’t what it looked like. I
mean, I know I said some things
about Ben earlier today… but…
Lex
Ally, you don’t owe me anything. I
just want you to be happy, however
that happens.
Ally
But Lex.. What if… What if you

Ally should be moving closer to Lex as she speaks like
approaching a started animal. Voice notes: Lex should have
his interest peaked, but be cautious.

I didn’t really have a chance to
process how I felt. But I couldn’t
stop thinking about you all day,
all the time we spent together
online. How you were always there,
so fun… And then earlier with Ben,
he was talking away and all I
could think was how I wanted to
hug and maybe do more with you.

We hear the rustle of clothes as Lex bends in for a kiss. And
We hear a light smack of lips.

Lex pulls away…

No. You taste great.. Argg. I’m

Ally

Lex
Ally. Please stop… pulling on my
neck, it kinda hurts… I can’t kiss
you anymore tonight, even though..
I really want to.
Ally

We hear the elevators open and the scene transitions
Kristy
That’s a girl, all showered up,
and ready for bed!
Daniella
Thanks Kristy, I’m so lucky to
have a friend like you. Thank you
for packing all my costuming back
up. I know it can be a pain.
Kristy
No worries. You rest up, I think
we want to leave earlyish
tomorrow. I’m just going to wheel
this behemoth out to the hallway.
Daniella
Sure no problem… Good Night, sleep
tight… Thank you again Kristy. I
know things will look better in

Kristy

Kristy closes a door just as another door opens down the
hall… we hear Lex singing the end of a song (Weird Al The
Saga Begins) before closing the door and walking into the
hallway.
Kristy
Lex…? It’s dark but isn’t that
Ally’s room?
Lex
Shh.. She just fell asleep, I’m
going to go find some water, and
find another room.
Kristy
Hmmm.. I won’t ask.
Lex
Please it’s… there isn’t any way
for me to explain everything that
happened tonight.
Kristy
Okay. I Find That Answer Vague And
Unconvincing.
Lex
You become part droid when tired?
Kristy

HEAVY SIGH I don’t even know
what I’m doing.. I don’t know why
I’m telling you think but I’m
freaking out. She Kissed me in the
Elevator.. And I asked her to
stop.
Kristy

Lex
That was my first kiss. And.. She
had just kissed that Ben guy, or
he had kissed her. Or something.
Kristy
Oh wow.. Um so are you okay?
Lex
I think so.. Just I didn’t know
what to do with myself after
everything so I asked her to slow
down. Just hold hands, talk. I’m
so scared she is going to wake up
tomorrow and realize she was wrong
about me. I don’t want to mess
this up, Kristy.
Kristy
Okay.. Okay shhhh… It’s okay. You
know talking is good. It’s the
foundation – when you talk you
know where you stand with the
person. Expressing your needs is
just as important as hers.
Lex
So hand holding is okay for now…?
Kristy
Well I don’t know were you wearing
gloves? I mean did you practice
safe hand holding?
Lex
You can’t see it but I’m eye
Rolling… Good night Kristy, and

Good night kid, I’ll see you in

There is a moment.. Then Kristy pulls out her cell and
presses the speed dial, the cell phone waiting to connect.
Sarah answers and she sound very tired.
Sarah
Hello? Kristy, is everything okay?
It’s the middle of the night.
Kristy
Oh gees, I’m sorry Sarah, I was
just thinking about you, before
heading to get some sleep. This
trip has been a crazy emotional
roller coaster. I just missed the
sanity you bring to my life.
Sarah
Oh dear, trying to fix everyone’s
problems for them…?
Kristy
I care about them all too much to
just leave it be. Like why can’t
they all see they have it in them.
I see it, how amazing they all
are. Why can’t they?
Sarah
It’s just part of growing up, no
matter the age that happens.
Realizing that the world goes on
and on and on YAWN but you can
only control yourself.. Make
choices for yourself.. You know?
Kristy
God you are cute when you are
tired. I miss you.
Sarah
I miss you too. Your last text
didn’t sound too promising you
would get to see the movie.
Kristy
We are working on it.. But it’s
hard. Trying to keep us sane on
this insane trip.
Sarah
You’ll figure it out and if you
don’t it will at least be
memorable. Honey, I need to go.. I
have a shift in the morning and
the twins have ninja warrior
class.
Kristy
Right.. Sorry for calling so late.

We hear a soft Click, and hear kristy walk off into the
distance in the Villa.
INT. PARKING GARAGE – NEAR MORNING
Transition to the parking garage. Where Rish and James are
walking around.
James
This place is weird looking..
Rish
It’s the parking Garage, remember
you said you wanted to come with
me? You would think you would be
sick of me by now… at near 5 am oh
my god..
James
No… You nooo…. It’s really dirty
isn’t it?
Rish
Oh here is the Car.. Let me just
unlock the doors, I’ll grab my
bag. And then I can get you to
your room for some sleepy time.
James
NOO, I don’t need sleep….
Rish
Everyone needs sleep…
We hear a message arrive on Rish’s phone.. She looks at it
and takes time to read it..
Rish
Oh one sec, I need to check it –
it’s from my friend.. Hopefully
from my friend about the event we
are trying to get to. Oh no… He
says he has tried to find out the
change of location but they are
keeping it secret. He isn’t sure
if he can find out where it will
be.
James
Event? I’m going to an event..
Tomorrow. Rish… Come here.. Come
here. It’s a SECRET. It’s a
special screening of the MOVIE.
You know the one we have been
talking about all night.. That
one..
Rish
Ug. your breathe… wooo And.. you
know where isn’t going to be?
James
Yea… I have the address locked up
in the old noodle…
Rish
Gosh you must me tired… I’m going
to just lean you up her against
this car… and open up the trunk..
She presses the button on the truck to pop it. Walks back
over to James
Rish
Look, I got a bed all ready for
you..
James
Mmmhmmmm… okay…
James sort of stumbles over the to truck and falls in..
Rish
I’m just going to get you tucked
right in here…
James
Do you have a blanket?
Rish
A blanket… my sweater.
She takes off her sweater
Rish
Here all tucked in… I’m just going
to get you a water bottle… I’ll be
right back…
Rish gently closes the trunk.
Rish
Oh god…. What did I just do??

forgiven or need to be a blackmark
