  1. Hi! I recently discovered your podcast and wanted to throw my support towards your badassery! Your show is so thoughtful and insightful, and I am enjoying it so much.

I love this episode a lot and learning the terms “transformative fandom” and “curative fandom” have been really helpful to me understanding fan dynamics.

I Appreciated you bringing in an intersectional analysis by mentioning other identities such a queer identities. I would also love to hear more, in terms of the intersection of sexism and racism.

Because of the complicated history of white feminists excluding women of color, it feels like an important thing to amplify and include.

This article touches on this idea little bit, and I wanted to share it with you.

“ Change often means decentralizing the white, middle-class experience, and sometimes means accepting that women of color need to be at the forefront.” https://theundefeated.com/features/black-women-say-white-feminists-have-a-trump-problem/

I’m interested in learning and talking about how white women in Star Wars fandom can promote the voices of women of color especially.

Did not mean for this to be so long, but again, I appreciate the conversation!
