Author’s Summary: “The choices we make, the actions we take, both big and small, shape us into Forces of Destiny.”
Choices individuals make out of selfishness impact their Karma and lead to suffering for themselves and the wider Galaxy. While actions made out of selflessness, lead to happiness and peace for others. This concept is illustrated through Rey and Kylo in The Rise of Skywalker.
Poe Dameron: Free Fall feels rushed and unpolished but it contains some mythical elements and clever retconnings that explain the motivations of adult Poe.
Dark Legends, written by George Mann and illustrated by Grant Griffin, is a short collection of Star Wars stories based on well-trodden horror tales. The tales themselves fall flat and are not very scary, but they introduce variations on Star Wars concepts (the planetary effects of massive cracked kybers, the Jedi suppresion of the Dark Side...) and they are accompanied by fantastic illustrations.
