The Sims 4 – Star Wars: Journey to Batuu Review – Part 1

As a player, I'm not a fan of purely decorative items. Some simmers might find them helpful in creating atmospheres and such, but I am more curious about functional items that can inject some Star Wars-themed style and flair in regular gameplay.

REVIEW: Star Wars: Thrawn Ascendancy – Chaos Rising

With Chaos Rising, Timothy Zahn does a great job of combining intensely personal perspectives with political intrigue and military philosophy and strategy, building a fascinating novel that will delight Thrawn fans, intrigue classic Star Wars viewers and might open a smooth segue into the franchise for lovers of other science fiction universes like Star Trek, Dune or even The Left Hand of Darkness. A must read.

Review: The Clone Wars: Stories of Light and Dark Anthology

The Clone Wars: Stories of Light and Dark retells episodes of The Clone Wars in a similar way to a novelization. The...

Review: Poe Dameron: Free Fall by Alex Segura

Poe Dameron: Free Fall feels rushed and unpolished but it contains some mythical elements and clever retconnings that explain the motivations of adult Poe.

Review: Dark Legends, by George Mann

Dark Legends, written by George Mann and illustrated by Grant Griffin, is a short collection of Star Wars stories based on well-trodden horror tales. The tales themselves fall flat and are not very scary, but they introduce variations on Star Wars concepts (the planetary effects of massive cracked kybers, the Jedi suppresion of the Dark Side...) and they are accompanied by fantastic illustrations.

Review: The Merry Rise of Skywalker by Ian Doescher

From the cover and title, The Merry Rise of Skywalker lets its readers know right away that this take on Star Wars...

Review: Doctor Aphra: An Audiobook Original by Sarah Kuhn

Doctor Aphra: An Audiobook Original by Sarah Kuhn is pure joy from beginning to end. The cast is brilliant, the sound design immersive -- the gentle twinkling beeps of Aphra’s Archangel would work as Galactic ASMR -- and the pacing and writing will keep you hooked to your headphones. If you can only pick up one Star Wars product this year, make it this one.
